Victor Fall Craft Fair 2010

The first of many craft fairs this holiday season started off with the Victor Craft Fair last Saturday, sponsored by Rhonda Tolbert. It was not as well attended as the year before but I'm optimistic about the upcoming shows. It also allowed me the opportunity to reflect and brainstorm ideas.

Considering the last minute rush to prepare for this and the near-accident I almost got myself into on my way to the show on that icy morning, the booth turned out well and despite my initial apprehension, I felt very good about my display.

So the universe is aligned and the planets are in proper orbit. I even brought extra unfinished projects in case I had a little time in my hand. I got to finish them all, take pictures, check out the other booths, and even sold a few items. That's the best you can hope for when participating in these fairs.

There was definitely variety here. But they all had one thing in common. The handbags, pincushion keepers, heating pads were made from upcycled materials.
